Global Strategic Accounts Manager - F&B

Position Summary:

Leads and develops SXS business growth plans and central customer relationships with selected “Group Strategic or MNC Accounts” in the F&B industry, as well as supporting the broader Strategic Account Management programme for Americas and Group.   This role is envisage to have the global lead for selected USA based SAM accounts. 

Essential Job Functions:

1.

Develops and leads selected Group Strategic Accounts with overall account plan ownership and matrix P&L responsibility.

2.

Provides leadership, support, or coaching for selected “MNC Accounts”.

3.

Supports reactive demands from customers where cross OpCo coordination is required.

4.

Delivers sustainable above market growth with incremental benefit from managing the selected accounts as SAM accounts.

Other Job Functions:

1.

  • Manage and Develop central customer relationships.
  • Manage periodic central customer communications and business reviews.
  • Provide leadership of internal global virtual team of stakeholders for selected account(s).
  • Lead any cross OpCo negotiations such as for central Pricing or Frame Agreements.
  • Track overall account performance and report on main metrics such as account growth, new business growth, and account share and customer profitability.
  • Coordinate end user SAM account strategy where there is a requirement to build into the account strategy both direct sales channel activities and business via indirect channels (OEMS, EPCs, and Distributors).
  • Provide SAM leadership for specialist markets such as Pharma or F&B.
  • Offer proactive actions to develop deep customer insight on requirements, and to influence the SxS development of customer focused products, solutions and services.

2.

  • Lead KAMs may be located within OpCos where selected customers have their head office, or where SXS has most business.

3.

  • Develop and manage tools systems, processes that support SAM capability development for Group, Division and OpCos.
  • Include input to best practice materials and templates as well as supporting the development of SAM training materials and the SAM iShare platform.
  • Develop and maintain effective Group networks to support Cross OpCo working on selective Accounts.
  • Work closely with USA OpCo for these accounts to complement customer relationship and business development actions.
  • Business Ownership for overall Customer Account Plan and Performance with role to support and influence OpCos/ Divisions and Group colleagues to maximize benefit for SXS Group with selected customers.

Job Requirements:

Education:

Engineering or Technical Bachelor’s Degree.

Experience:

3-5 years of direct selling or equivalent education.

Specialized Skills:

This is a high profile role with objective to lead a step change in SXS business level with selected customers where we see high growth opportunities and customer characteristics that align with our customer first strategy. The expectation is that 50 – 75 % of the role will be focused on direct customer SAM activities with the balance of time supporting the broader SAM program developments and reactive multinational customer demands.

 

The role has no direct reports although the role requires leadership of customer specific cross OpCo virtual teams and significant strategy alignment across central Market, Business Development, Product and Service Stakeholders.
