Pricing and Market Analyst

We are currently looking for a Pricing and Market Analyst to support our market intelligence efforts with our Business Development group.

Duties

  • Analyze external market and internal business data to gain insights and make recommendations for sales growth opportunities
  • Analyze sales and margin data to gain insights and make recommendations to improve overall sales margins
  • Maintain market size and market share data
  • Maintain sales win/loss and competitive intelligence data
  • Maintain pricing agreements, price exception data base, price adjustments, etc.
  • Create, maintain, and publish Microsoft PowerBI and Salesforce.com reports and dashboards
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Sales and Marketing PowerBI user community

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree with an emphasis in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting or Marketing
  • 7+ years of experience
  • Strong analytic, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Team player with the ability to foster effective working relationships and build consensus
  • Extremely organized, detail-oriented, resourceful and flexible
  • Motivation to succeed with the capacity to assume increasing responsibility
  • Experience with data analytics methodologies and tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Experience analyzing Sales and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with market research methods and tools is a plus
  • Experience/knowledge of industrial business to business (B2B) markets a plus
