Sales Engineer - FAST

Spirax Sarco is looking for a motivated outside sales professional to join our FAST (Focused Account Sales Team) to target the F&B industry.

Main Responsibilities

1.

  • Provides new customers with a complete understanding of the Spirax Sarco, Inc. solutions to insure their strategic goals and initiatives are met.

  • Develops business opportunities and generates sales volume.

  • Obtains customer support and agreement to provide project specific solutions.

Other Job Functions

1.

  • Fully understands and comprehends Spirax Sarco’s Customer First Strategy.
  • Presents Spirax Sarco capabilities and the complete product offering to all stakeholders using professional presentations, lunch & learns, and other effective means.

  • Acquires new customers from an assigned industry segment.
  • Closes growth opportunities.
  • Uses Value Selling techniques to advance Spirax Sarco’s premium position.
  • Participates in various networking group activities, professional organizations, and trade shows in order to develop new leads and customers.
  • Maintains up to date records via Salesforce.com on opportunities, accounts, quotations, contacts, calls and meetings.

3.

  • Delivers innovative solutions aligned to resolve customer pain points.
  • Collaborates with the ESG, ESD and EM&M Group to assist in the complete product offering and design.
  • Evaluates customer needs; ensures customers receive accurate and timely quotations; as needed, expedites orders, and follows up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinates with all Spirax Sarco internal departments to align resources to resolve customer needs and objectives.

Job Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

5 years of experience in business to business sales, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Specialized Skills:

  • Prior proven track record of achievement in positions with significant accountability
  • Computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, outlook and saleforce.com.
  • Must possess valid driver’s license and be able to operate motor vehicle.
