Welcome to the Beta version of the Spirax Sarco website intended for final customer testing. During this beta phase, we will be fine tuning the website before the launch of the new website.
Dame Janet Trotter presented a rose bowl on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen to recognise their recent grant of a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation. The Award is the UK’s highest accolade for business success for design and manufacture.
The Award was in recognition of the highly innovative TVA flowmeter that was designed, developed and tested by our team in Cheltenham. Spirax Sarco took the opportunity to invite over 40 current and past employees to their world-class technology centre and steam lab to receive the award. They represented core team members who were significantly involved in the research, development, production and sales promotion of this product.
Speaking about the presentation of the rose bowl, Simon Sprackling, Group Research and Development Manager, said ‘this award is testament to the experience, knowledge, capability and skill of all those involved in the development of this product and recognises our strength of team working to deliver such an innovation’.
During the presentations, Dame Janet Trotter, said ‘I am delighted to be here at Spirax Sarco for their first Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation. You are an excellent company with a long track record of serving the UK and international markets. I hope this award will help to contribute to continued successes.
Following the presentation, Dame Janet Trotter expressed how nice it was to be able to include the team as this helped to make the occasion even more special and would be shared and remembered by many.
