Go Back to Basics to Harness Your Steam Systems Potential with Our Introductory Course

Sally O’Connell, Training Centre Manager, 06/03/2019

As we say goodbye to winter and welcome in spring, it’s not too late to commit to a professional New Year’s resolution. With so many variables to consider when beginning your journey in steam and condensate systems, you’ll benefit from having a solid grounding in the ‘fundamentals of steam’. So why not join me in making an investment in training your professional resolution for 2019?

If you need to have an appreciation of steam and condensate systems and factors affecting their operation, then there is no better way to kick-off your resolution than by joining me for our one-day ‘Introduction to Steam and Condensate Systems’ course.

What will the course include?

In my role as Training Centre Manager, I’ve discovered that understanding the basics of steam and condensate systems is a greatly needed foundation for apprentices, as well as those who are new to the steam industry and those looking to build the requisite knowledge needed to further their career in industries that make use of steam.

By the end of this course, you’ll gain an understanding of areas such as the fundamentals of steam and its uses, why condensate is formed, and how to identify best practice steam installation. So, this makes it the ideal course for those just beginning their career in a steam plant.

Where can I take the course?

The course takes place in our state-of-the-art training facility in Cheltenham which boasts a fully working boiler house, demonstration rigs and practical areas which allows you to put into practice the skills that you have learned.

Going back to basics really can help you to harness your steam system’s full potential – ensuring that you maximise safety and efficiency within your plant.

This should be one New Year’s resolution that you stick with, even if like me, your others didn’t make it past January. Register now and kick off your training in 2019, I hope to see you very soon.
